The work Still Life, Eulogy, From Fantin Latour by David Bierk was auctioned at Sothebys in Toronto in May 2011. The price achieved of CAD 18,000.00 (€ 12,924.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by David Bierk have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2012 the work A Eulogy To Life, To Manet, To Gauguin was auctioned for CAD 26,400.00 (€ 20,630.60).
