The price achieved of CAD 27,000.00 (€ 19,386.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by David Bierk have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2012 the work A Eulogy To Life, To Manet, To Gauguin was auctioned for CAD 26,400.00 (€ 20,630.60).
