Auction result well in line with expectations
The work RITES OF MARRIAGE by David Chan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,127.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Chan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work You Are So Special, Just Like Everyone Else in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 87,477.94).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.127,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden.
