Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Flying Pigs Are Still Soup by David Chan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in March 2017. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,774.61). Admittedly, works by David Chan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work You Are So Special, Just Like Everyone Else in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 87,477.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Flying Pigs Are Still Soup von David Chan kam im März 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.774,61) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Chan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit You Are So Special, Just Like Everyone Else im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 87.477,94).
