Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work All Dogs Go To Heaven: Doberman by David Chan. The price achieved of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 5,577.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 45,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Chan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work You Are So Special, Just Like Everyone Else in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 87,477.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit All Dogs Go To Heaven: Doberman von David Chan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 5.577,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 45.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Chan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit You Are So Special, Just Like Everyone Else im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 87.477,94).
