Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2006 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Head by David Breuer-Weil. The price achieved of GBP 3,840.00 (€ 5,605.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Breuer-Weil achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alien in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 63,842.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Head von David Breuer-Weil zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.840,00 (€ 5.605,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Breuer-Weil erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Alien im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 63.842,78).
