Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Twee Oranjeklanten: an officer drinking hot chocolate in an interior by David Bles was sold in the PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2002. The price achieved of EUR 4,700.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Bles achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work De mooie minne en de Grootpapa's: The beautiful nurse and the grandfathers in March 2001 with an auction result of NLG 188,000.00 (€ 87,073.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Twee Oranjeklanten: an officer drinking hot chocolate in an interior von David Bles wurde im Januar 2002 in der Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.700,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Bles erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit De mooie minne en de Grootpapa's: The beautiful nurse and the grandfathers im März 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 188.000,00 (€ 87.073,46).
