Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Still Life with Ceramics and Glass by David Alison for GBP 165.75 (€ 196.37). This price was achieved in the auction The Scottish Sale at Bonhams in Edinburgh and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Alison achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Summer in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,710.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still Life with Ceramics and Glass von David Alison für GBP 165,75 (€ 196,37) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Scottish Sale bei Bonhams in Edinburgh erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Alison erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Summer im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.710,35).
