Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2001 a collector was able to acquire the work Spring Morning at Balmaha Bay, Loch Lomond by David Donaldson for GBP 4,700.00 (€ 7,479.18). This price was achieved in the auction The Scottish Sale including pictures from the at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Donaldson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Young girl in an interior, which sold at auction in October 2003 for GBP 10,516.00 (€ 15,359.57).

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Scottish Sale including pictures from the bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00.
