Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fullmoon@Nikko (Reds), 2008 by Darren Almond was auctioned at Christies in Paris in November 2020. The price achieved of EUR 4,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Darren Almond achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Six Months Later in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 74,791.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fullmoon@Nikko (Reds), 2008 von Darren Almond kam im November 2020 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Darren Almond erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Six Months Later im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 74.791,07).
