Auction result well in line with expectations
In September last year Phillips in an online auction held the auction Color & Scale: The Estate of Martha Hummer Bradley, which included the work email protected Ewe by Darren Almond. The price achieved of USD 8,190.00 (€ 8,371.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Darren Almond have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Six Months Later in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 74,791.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Color & Scale: The Estate of Martha Hummer Bradley durch, in der auch die Arbeit email protected Ewe von Darren Almond zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.190,00 (€ 8.371,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Darren Almond auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Six Months Later im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 74.791,07).
