Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Christies in Paris held the auction Photographies, which included the work Fullmoon@Eifel 3, 2010 by Darren Almond. The price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Darren Almond achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Six Months Later in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 74,791.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Photographies durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fullmoon@Eifel 3, 2010 von Darren Almond zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Darren Almond erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Six Months Later im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 74.791,07).
