Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fox Talbot Fullmoon. by Darren Almond was sold in the Prints & Multiples | ONLINE ONLY auction at VAN HAM in Cologne in October 2021. The price achieved of EUR 516.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Darren Almond achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Six Months Later in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 74,791.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fox Talbot Fullmoon. von Darren Almond wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Prints & Multiples | ONLINE ONLY bei VAN HAM in Köln versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 516,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Darren Almond erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Six Months Later im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 74.791,07).
