In the California and Western Art Online auction, the work Lady with her Cat changed hands for USD 510.00 (€ 417.01) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Darrel Austin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Spring in November 2020 with an auction result of USD 16,562.50 (€ 13,862.15).
