Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2020 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California and Western Art Online, which included the work Figural Group with Angels by Darrel Austin. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,293.54). Admittedly, works by Darrel Austin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Spring in November 2020 with an auction result of USD 16,562.50 (€ 13,862.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California and Western Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figural Group with Angels von Darrel Austin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.805,00 (€ 2.293,54) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Darrel Austin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Spring im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.562,50 (€ 13.862,15).
