In the Latin American Art auction, the work Mujer Lavándose Los Pies changed hands for USD 34,375.00 (€ 27,079.72) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Darío Morales have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2000 by the work Mujer lavandose los pies at USD 45,825.00 (€ 48,009.43).
