Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bath of Ana María by Darío Morales was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in November 2016. The price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 21,270.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Darío Morales - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mujer lavandose los pies, which sold at auction in June 2000 for USD 45,825.00 (€ 48,009.43).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 21.270,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden.
