Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Daniel O'Neill could be acquired at Sothebys in London in September 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Irish Art auction, the work Seated Nude changed hands for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,529.33) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel O'Neill achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reclining Figure in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 216,500.00 (€ 275,397.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Daniel O'Neill konnte im September 2018 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Irish Art wechselte die Arbeit Seated Nude für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.529,33) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daniel O'Neill erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reclining Figure im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 216.500,00 (€ 275.397,46).
