In September 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included this untitled work by Daniel Lergon. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,342.97), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Daniel Lergon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2016 for EUR 10,625.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im September 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Daniel Lergon zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.342,97) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Daniel Lergon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2016 für EUR 10.625,00 versteigert wurde.
