Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Space Monkey - 2005 by Dalek was sold in the More auction at Artcurial in Paris in September 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 100.00 – 150.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 104.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dalek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Conform) - 1999 in October 2019 with an auction result of EUR 5,149.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Space Monkey - 2005 von Dalek wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion More bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 100,00 – 150,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 104,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dalek erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Conform) - 1999 im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.149,00.
