Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Times the Fun by Dale Chihuly was auctioned at Bonhams in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,024.00 (€ 968.96) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dale Chihuly achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A 'VENETIAN' VASE, 1989 in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 44,987.15).
