Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Double Time by Dale Chihuly was sold in the Modern Design | Art auction at Bonhams in October this year. The price achieved of USD 1,280.00 (€ 1,211.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dale Chihuly achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A 'VENETIAN' VASE, 1989 in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 44,987.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Double Time von Dale Chihuly wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern Design | Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.280,00 (€ 1.211,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dale Chihuly erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A 'VENETIAN' VASE, 1989 im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 44.987,15).
