The work Misty Landscape by Dai Mingyue was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2015. It achieved a price of USD 43,750.00 (€ 40,731.78), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dai Mingyue - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape After Dong Yuan, which sold at auction in April 2016 for HKD 944,000.00 (€ 106,355.74).

Die Arbeit Misty Landscape von Dai Mingyue kam im März 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 40.731,78) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46%. Für andere Arbeiten von Dai Mingyue mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape After Dong Yuan beobachtet, die im April 2016 für HKD 944.000,00 (€ 106.355,74) versteigert wurde.
