The work Calligraphy by Dai Mingyue was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. It achieved a price of HKD 100,800.00 (€ 12,079.42), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Admittedly, works by Dai Mingyue have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape After Dong Yuan in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 944,000.00 (€ 106,355.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Dai Mingyue kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 100.800,00 (€ 12.079,42) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dai Mingyue auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape After Dong Yuan im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 944.000,00 (€ 106.355,74).
