Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Une tête de taupe by Miodrag Djuric was auctioned at Bonhams in June this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 26,880.00. Admittedly, works by Miodrag Djuric have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2021 with an auction result of EUR 163,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Une tête de taupe von Miodrag Djuric im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 26.880,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Miodrag Djuric auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 163.800,00.
