This artwork by Miodrag Djuric achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in June last year. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Autoportrait - 1959 sold for EUR 54,680.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Miodrag Djuric - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2021 for EUR 163,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 82 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Miodrag Djuric erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Autoportrait - 1959 für EUR 54.680,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Miodrag Djuric mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für EUR 163.800,00 versteigert wurde.
