Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Balinese Women by Czeslaw Mystkowski was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 43,750.00 (€ 4,504.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Czeslaw Mystkowski - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reclining nude, which sold at auction in October 2007 for EUR 9,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Three Balinese Women von Czeslaw Mystkowski kam im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 43.750,00 (€ 4.504,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Czeslaw Mystkowski mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reclining nude beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für EUR 9.850,00 versteigert wurde.
