In August 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Western Art, which included the work Appeal to the Great Spirit by Cyrus Edwin Dallin. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,475.00 (€ 9,724.58), 64% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cyrus Edwin Dallin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Massasoit' in December 2008 with an auction result of USD 266,500.00 (€ 191,464.90).

Im August 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Western Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Appeal to the Great Spirit von Cyrus Edwin Dallin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.475,00 (€ 9.724,58) und damit 64% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cyrus Edwin Dallin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Massasoit' im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 266.500,00 (€ 191.464,90).
