Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Cundo Bermúdez was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2018. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,213.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cundo Bermúdez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mujer peinando a su amante in May last year with an auction result of USD 403,200.00 (€ 375,733.86).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Cundo Bermúdez kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.213,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cundo Bermúdez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mujer peinando a su amante im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 403.200,00 (€ 375.733,86).
