Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Cullen Yates could be acquired at Christies in New York in April 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Interiors auction, the work Autumn Landscape changed hands for USD 1,000.00 (€ 895.90) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cullen Yates achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Buttermilk Falls, Shawnee On Delaware, Pennsylvania in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 31,250.00 (€ 22,988.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Cullen Yates konnte im April 2015 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Autumn Landscape für USD 1.000,00 (€ 895,90) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cullen Yates erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Buttermilk Falls, Shawnee On Delaware, Pennsylvania im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 22.988,08).
