Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Cui Xiuwen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in April 2011. In the BRIC auction, the work The Three Realms (Sanjie) sold for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,223.15) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Cui Xiuwen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work One Day In 2004 No.6 in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 58,000.00 (€ 40,790.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Cui Xiuwen erzielte im April 2011 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion BRIC wurde die Arbeit The Three Realms (Sanjie) für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.223,15) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cui Xiuwen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit One Day In 2004 No.6 im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 58.000,00 (€ 40.790,49).
