Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Lotus by Cui Ruzhuo. It changed hands for a price of HKD 199,500.00 (€ 17,439.95) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 160,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cui Ruzhuo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Grand Snowing Mountains in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 306,800,000.00 (€ 34,565,614.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2007 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lotus von Cui Ruzhuo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 199.500,00 (€ 17.439,95) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 160.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cui Ruzhuo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Grand Snowing Mountains im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 306.800.000,00 (€ 34.565.614,89).
