The work Lotus by Cui Ruzhuo was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. It achieved a price of HKD 3,860,000.00 (€ 402,109.35), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 29%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cui Ruzhuo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Grand Snowing Mountains in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 306,800,000.00 (€ 34,565,614.89).

Oberer Schätzpreis um 29 % übertroffen

Die Arbeit Lotus von Cui Ruzhuo kam im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 3.860.000,00 (€ 402.109,35) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 29%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cui Ruzhuo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Grand Snowing Mountains im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 306.800.000,00 (€ 34.565.614,89).
