Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Bonhams held the auction La Révolution Surréaliste, which included the work Sans titre by Cruzeiro Seixas. The price achieved of EUR 3,187.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Cruzeiro Seixas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A noite sem fim in March last year with an auction result of GBP 14,000.00 (€ 16,598.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion La Révolution Surréaliste durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre von Cruzeiro Seixas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.187,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cruzeiro Seixas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A noite sem fim im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.000,00 (€ 16.598,58).
