Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Bonhams in London held the auction The Mind's Eye / Surrealist Sale, which included this untitled work by Cruzeiro Seixas. The price achieved of GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,511.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cruzeiro Seixas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A noite sem fim in March last year with an auction result of GBP 14,000.00 (€ 16,598.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Mind's Eye / Surrealist Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Cruzeiro Seixas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.511,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cruzeiro Seixas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A noite sem fim im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.000,00 (€ 16.598,58).
