The work Updating by Cristina BanBan was auctioned at Phillips in London in December last year. It achieved a price of GBP 132,300.00 (€ 149,353.81), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 65%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Cristina BanBan; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot La Fatiga Que Me Das (You Exhaust Me) sold at auction in February this year with the realized price of GBP 163,800.00 (€ 186,835.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 65 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Updating von Cristina BanBan kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 132.300,00 (€ 149.353,81) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 65%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Cristina BanBan; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit La Fatiga Que Me Das (You Exhaust Me) im Februar diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 163.800,00 (€ 186.835,82).
