In December last year Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included this untitled work by Cristina BanBan. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,292.00 (€ 5,974.15), 51% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cristina BanBan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Fatiga Que Me Das (You Exhaust Me) in February this year with an auction result of GBP 163,800.00 (€ 186,835.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 51 % übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Cristina BanBan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.292,00 (€ 5.974,15) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cristina BanBan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Fatiga Que Me Das (You Exhaust Me) im Februar diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 163.800,00 (€ 186.835,82).
