Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Carbonara Text by Cristina BanBan was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 504,000.00 (€ 62,542.28). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cristina BanBan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Fatiga Que Me Das (You Exhaust Me), which sold at auction in February this year for GBP 163,800.00 (€ 186,835.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Carbonara Text von Cristina BanBan kam im November letzten Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 504.000,00 (€ 62.542,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Cristina BanBan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Fatiga Que Me Das (You Exhaust Me) beobachtet, die im Februar diesen Jahres für GBP 163.800,00 (€ 186.835,82) versteigert wurde.
