Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Industrial Still Life by Cressida Campbell was sold in the Australian, International & Contemporary Paintings Part II auction at Christies in Melbourne in April 2006. The price achieved of AUD 6,572.50 (€ 3,953.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cressida Campbell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work From the Balcony (Triptych) in August 2003 with an auction result of AUD 47,000.00 (€ 27,765.34).

Die Arbeit Industrial Still Life von Cressida Campbell wurde im April 2006 in der Auktion Australian, International & Contemporary Paintings Part II bei Christies in Melbourne versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 6.572,50 (€ 3.953,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cressida Campbell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit From the Balcony (Triptych) im August 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 47.000,00 (€ 27.765,34).
