Oblong 4 o (214 x 277 mm). 12 leaves. (First plate remargined at outer edge, a few mostly marginal tears, some spotting and discoloration.) 19th-century green quarter roan. Provenance: Society of Scribes and illuminators, London; Graham Pollard (pencil note on endpaper).
Probably published separately but also one of three alphabets forming the second part of the first edition of Cresci's work "Il perfetto scrittore," his second calligraphy manual. Berlin 5187; see Johnson p.38-40; and Morison p.103-106.
