Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2004 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Reclining nude by Cowan Dobson. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,732.75 (€ 2,593.77), 16% above the upper estimate. Other works by Cowan Dobson have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,761.26) in October 2011 for the work Portrait of Robert Bontine Cunninghame Graham (1852-1936).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Reclining nude von Cowan Dobson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.732,75 (€ 2.593,77) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Cowan Dobson haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.761,26) im Oktober 2011 für die Arbeit Portrait of Robert Bontine Cunninghame Graham (1852-1936) beobachtet.
