Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Corrado Cagli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in November 2017. In the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction, the work Lo Scacciapensieri sold for EUR 31,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Corrado Cagli; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Le Spie Al Palo sold at auction in November 2006 with the realized price of EUR 47,120.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Corrado Cagli erzielte im November 2017 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea wurde die Arbeit Lo Scacciapensieri für EUR 31.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Corrado Cagli; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Le Spie Al Palo im November 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 47.120,00.
