In November 2002 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Pictures, which included the work Landscape and poultry in a landscape by Cornelis van Leemputten. The price achieved of GBP 4,935.00 (€ 7,727.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00.
