Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Schafe im Stall. by Cornelis van Leemputten was auctioned at Koller in September 2015. The price achieved of CHF 4,125.00 (€ 3,781.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cornelis van Leemputten - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A ram, sheep and poultry in a landscape; and Sheep, ducks and poultry in a landscape., which sold at auction in March 2007 for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,831.31).

Die Arbeit Schafe im Stall. von Cornelis van Leemputten kam im September 2015 bei Koller zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 4.125,00 (€ 3.781,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
