Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2010 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Drawings, which included the work The Resurrected Christ Standing Among Groups Of Angels And Saints by Cornelis Schut. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,209.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelis Schut achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abduction Of Europa in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 352,800.00 (€ 302,910.62).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.209,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
