Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Female nude by Cornelis Kloos for EUR 600.00. This price was achieved in the auction PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 700.00 – 900.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Cornelis Kloos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two reclining nudes in January 2005 with an auction result of EUR 3,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Female nude von Cornelis Kloos für EUR 600,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 700,00 – 900,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cornelis Kloos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Two reclining nudes im Januar 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.600,00.
