Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & Early British Paintings, which included the work A Still Life With A Fish, Onions, Cabbage, Cheese And Copper Pots by Cornelis Jacobsz. Delff. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,584.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelis Jacobsz. Delff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Apples And Other Fruit On A Tazza, Together With A Glass Of Beer, A Partly Peeled Apple, A Knife And Two Bread Rolls in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 62,572.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2009 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & Early British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Still Life With A Fish, Onions, Cabbage, Cheese And Copper Pots von Cornelis Jacobsz. Delff zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.584,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cornelis Jacobsz. Delff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Apples And Other Fruit On A Tazza, Together With A Glass Of Beer, A Partly Peeled Apple, A Knife And Two Bread Rolls im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 62.572,68).
