The work A Kitchen Still Life With A Maid And Her Admirer Next To A Table With Dead Hares, Fowl, Bread Rolls, A Basket With Fruit, And Copper Pots And Pans, On Another Table An Earthenware Plate With Fish, Cabbages And Artichokes, The Return Of The Prodigal Son In by Cornelis Jacobsz. Delff was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in December 2009. The price achieved of EUR 24,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cornelis Jacobsz. Delff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With Apples And Other Fruit On A Tazza, Together With A Glass Of Beer, A Partly Peeled Apple, A Knife And Two Bread Rolls, which sold at auction in July 2008 for GBP 49,250.00 (€ 62,572.68).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 24.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden.
