Auction result well in line with expectations

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cornelis de Wael - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Troops manoeuvring in an extensive landscape, which sold at auction in July 2004 for GBP 33,460.00 (€ 50,565.42).
