Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Fool With Two Women by Cornelis Cornelisz. van Haarlem was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2013. The price achieved of GBP 92,500.00 (€ 105,697.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelis Cornelisz. van Haarlem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hercules And Achelous in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 8,105,000.00 (€ 5,206,192.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Fool With Two Women von Cornelis Cornelisz. van Haarlem kam im Juli 2013 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 92.500,00 (€ 105.697,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cornelis Cornelisz. van Haarlem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hercules And Achelous im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.105.000,00 (€ 5.206.192,19).
